IzPack 5 unable to create web installer

Description

I've tried to create a web installation, and the maven build is failed.

I've made a hack fix: https://github.com/llibicpep/izpack/commit/bb3d70be2b58c2c9eb99aec540732373363965ef

This hack should be completely rewritten (so I wont create a pull request). As I am a newbie in IzPack 5 - I can't do it myself. If somebody can give me some explanation how it's can be fixed in the right way - I will try to fix it.

I corrected the problem, please include these 3 classes in the next 5.0.10 release: patch-izpack-web-5.0.9.zip

Thanks.

Unfortunately, this doesn't compile:

You probably made it protected in PackagerBase and forgot to add it, but the cleaner way would be probably holding a local private field from the compilerData parameter in the constructor.

We at LogicalDOC(http://www.logicaldoc.com) use izpack and appreciate it, that's why we contributed this correction for free.
Please add us as contributors in the web page http://izpack.org/we-love-izpack in the section "They contribute to IzPack" by the way we are just in "They use IzPack"

Of course.

One important note:
Please clone IzPack and send pull requests in Github.
This way all people can do a quality code review without any special tools, your pull request can be checked out separately, compiled and tested in real world projects, and your code is also proven whether it builds and passes the unit and integration tests. See https://izpack.atlassian.net/wiki/x/64AH.
I won't accept patches of any other kind in future, this takes too much time to integrate and verify.
I'm just dealing with it because I'm glad you invested your time to reactivate this long-standing feature.

can we pay you a reasonable sum to sponsor this development to happen quickly ?

Thanks for the offer. At the moment you can only try to find a contributor and make agreements with him. We don't work like a company and I don't know where to reinvest this (except the quite low yearly fees for the web domain). Fortunately, the infrastructure is still free of any fee, thanks to the offers of different companies for open-source projects.
From my point of view I'm employed at 100% and don't currently know about additional time slots.
Nevertheless, in case we see a feature that is totally or partly broken is really needed by the users we can just agitate to known contributors whether they don't want to care about this. Feedback of users is a good motivation. I'll try to find some way. We can put it to the sprint for the next version after IzPack 5.0.10 to not forget. We are in the same trouble like many IT companies this time - we need manpower.
